I work with a lot of highly successful people who struggle with maintaining habits.
In reality, this comes down to the same thing – a reliance on willpower to keep the habit going rather than looking at it from the perspective that it’s not willpower you need, but consistency.
Habits are built on the consistent action of carrying out whatever it is you are working on.
If you can build in some great habit hacks to help you maintain your consistency – these can range from diary prompts (effective) to habit stacking (effective, fun and a favourite of mine) to accountability partnerships (effective, fun and inspiring) you will be far more likely to achieve your goals and embed your chosen habits deeply into your life.
