Your personal coach
As your coach, my role is to learn about you and gain an understanding of how to best serve you. My approach is very much whole-person coaching, and creating an individual way of working together that enables you to achieve whatever it is that you set to achieve.
A Personal and Professional Relationship
Every aspect of our lives are interwoven, and by taking a whole-person approach, the work we do together will help you grow and thrive, within all facets of your life.
The coach/client relationship is a very personal one and varies from client to client. But, in all cases, the space that we share is always a safe and confidential one, where you are free to be you and explore whatever it is that you want us to work on.
It’s a privilege to work as a coach, and to walk alongside someone on a journey that takes them wherever it is they want to go.
Some words that describe me are…
Why am I a coach?
I am a naturally curious person, and this, coupled with a liking for understanding people, layered on top of a huge desire to help people progress – in their terms – led me to the fact that coaching might be the right long-term destination for me.
Through the training that I have undertaken on my journey towards coaching I have also reignited my love of learning. And coaching is really “every day is a school day” territory as I learn as much from my clients as they learn from me. I love this aspect of being a coach.
What can you expect from working with me?
A safe open space where you are free to be you, to explore anything that is on your mind, something that is perhaps holding you back, or some support to refocus mentally after a difficult challenge. You will receive my full attention when we are working together.
What do I need from you?
To be mentally present for our sessions, to be prepared to think hard, be honest and forthright, to be unashamedly yourself.

I have learned so much in 6 hours of coaching. Some of it is practical and work related, but most of it is how I can be better at being me, at home and at work. Kate talks about the safe space that she aims to create so you can be yourself and being a man of a certain age I was sceptical about this but actually after about 30 minutes I understood what she meant and how important it was so we could work together properly.
I haven’t had an easy ride either, I have been challenged, and pushed but all done in such an easy, supportive way I didn’t really notice what was going on until I spent some time reviewing the session (another new habit, thank you Kate) If you are thinking about getting some coaching, or actually if you are like me and don’t think you need any, then you will do a lot worse than reaching out to Kate for an intro meeting.
